Tim Gray Motorsport is able to offer a professional racecar preparation service to first timers as well as established competitors.
We have over 10 years experience preparing and developing our own cars to championship winning standards.
We have had the privilege of working with leading kit car manufactures such as Stuart Taylor Motorsport, AB Performance and Raw Engineering to develop their championship winning cars.
We also have experience in preparing single seaters, Radical’s, GTs, Saloons, Vintage and Historic cars all to championship winning standards.
Preparation
Do you have a racecar, but don’t have the time or knowledge to prepare it?
Why not let us do all the hard work, if your time is very limited we can pick your car up after a race meeting, prepare it and deliver it back to you ready for the next race meeting or test day.
Our preparation consists of:
- Removing all under trays and bodywork to check for cracks and damage to the chassis and undertake repairs
- Stripping, cleaning and bleeding of the braking system, including deglazing of brake pads and discs
- Checking all nuts and bolts
- Changing of fluids / filters as required
- Checking Geometry / set-up
- Oiling / greasing of the differential and chain (on chain drive cars)
- Checking and adjusting / greasing of the wheel bearings
This is just a small part of our overall preparation service and each car is dealt with on an individual basis.
